Hello, World. My name is Carlos Crespo-Gonzalez. Since August of 2016, my fiance and I have been serving as live-in volunteers at the Pocono Wildlife Rehabilitation and Education Center. Primarily, we are in charge of the rodent breeding center of the facility.
Recently, I have embarked on a new and rather exciting adventure, and thus, I've created this blog to chronicle the journey. I have decided to tackle to world of Wildlife Osteology. According to Merriam-Webster, Osteology is defined as:
: a branch of anatomy dealing with the bones
- : the bony structure of an organism
This blog will cover the principles of specimen preservation and articulation that I am either employing or plan to employ.
I hope you enjoy the adventure as much as I will!
